A dynamic web template is an HTML-based master copy of a web page that you can use to create other pages in a site that share the same layout. A dynamic web template can contain settings, formatting, and page elements such as text, graphics, page layout, styles, and regions of web page that can be modified.
Using a dynamic web template helps you to create a consistent look and feel across your site. When you make a change to a template, such as updating a graphic in a header, adding a link to a menu, or changing a phone number in the footer, the changes are automatically applied to all of the pages linked to the template.
